This Allendale project represents a thoughtful, full-scope landscape transformation shaped around the homeowners’ desire for functional outdoor spaces with refined character. Praetorian Landscaping delivered comprehensive landscape construction—starting from site preparation and grading, through custom fabrication and installation—with a focus on durability, cohesion, and long-term performance.

Located in the Allendale neighborhood of Austin, this property presented an opportunity to re-envision multiple outdoor areas that had previously gone unused or lacked purpose. Working from the ground up, our team managed the entire build, ensuring quality and craftsmanship at every stage.

We began with a complete site overhaul, including demolition, precise grading, and a rebuilt drainage system to support long-term landscape performance. Addressing foundational conditions upfront ensured that future elements would perform as intended despite Austin’s variable climate and soil conditions.

From structural hardscapes to architectural steel features, all fabrication and installation were handled in-house by our team. A centerpiece of this project is the custom perforated steel privacy screen, designed and built to frame the outdoor seating area while offering visual separation and architectural interest.

This steel feature provides a modern, refined accent that complements the home’s style while adding practical privacy where it matters most.

An overlooked exterior corridor between the main home and the garage apartment was transformed into a welcoming outdoor dining space. Carefully selected brick patios define this area, while layered plantings soften transitions and bring balance between hardscape and landscape.

Extensive planting was installed throughout the property to create continuity and visual harmony. Strategically placed trees along the street-facing side provide privacy and noise buffering, while open lawn areas offer clean, usable space for daily life and activities.

The result is a cohesive outdoor environment that feels intentional, peaceful, and inviting—providing multiple spaces to relax, entertain, and enjoy the Texas climate.
